Cape Winds Condos and Coronavirus

COVID-19 Updates

The safety and security of our guests and resort staff are of the utmost importance to us here at the Cape Winds Resort–both while you stay with us here and after your vacation is over. We are concerned about the Coronavirus, as much as (if not more) than you are. To that end:

  1. We’re constantly staying up on the latest science and best practices as we learn more about the evolution of this pandemic. Education is the first step in our sanitation and managerial procedures as they relate to COVID-19.
  2. Our professional cleaning staff has implemented additional procedures to help ensure that our resort is free of the virus-further cleaning is given to the most frequently-touched areas of a condo, bedding is professionally cleaned in high-temperature washes, and common areas throughout the resort receive additional cleanings multiple times per day.

For your stay during the COVID-19 pandemic, do note:

  1. All condos have their own heating and air conditioning systems and there is no cross-condo ventilation at our resort.
  2. Grocery delivery services and curbside pickup are available throughout our area. Restaurants, as usual, will deliver with contact-less options (ask with each restaurant before ordering).
  3. We recommend that you have a face-covering with you for the duration of your stay.
  4. We are also reminding guests at check-in and through signage around the resort to adhere to social distancing so that both guests and resort staff can feel safe and comfortable while on the property.
  5. The pool, hot tub, and sauna will be open based on state and local government guidance.
  6. Thankfully, our beach area is rarely crowded (usually just on holiday weekends). We encourage our guests to maintain a safe distance from other families.
  7. We also encourage guests to appreciate the safety needs of others by maintaining social distance at all times unless specifically given permission–so parents, do ask your kids to check before playing with other guests’ children in the pool or beach area. We do have, at times, immunocompromised family members that stay at the resort.
  8. As always, we offer contactless check-in and check-out–you’ll receive an email with your room code.
